The main square in Zagreb. A friend told me that if an equestrian statue has one leg raised, the guy on it was injured in battle; if it's rearing up he died. Nice to see this guy was pretty much fine afterward
I love the look of Zagreb from above. I made a sketch of this skyline, and it was a lovely way to spend the evening.
We have a very similar market in Munich, Viktualienmarkt, which also sells things like lavendar bundles and cheeses. The cost is twice as much, though.
My friend and I found a lovely lake a short ways from Zagreb, with a pebble beach. The water was the perfect temperature, great for wading.
This one I want to turn into an oil painting.
